THE PRODUCTION LINE INCLUDES EGG CARTON MACHINE, DRYER, PACKER, AND PRINTER.
- There are four main steps in paper egg carton production: pulping—forming—drying—packaging.
1. Pulping
Recycled waste paper is disintegrated in a hydraulic pulper with water to form a uniform pulp suspension. We usually add an appropriate amount of additives to the pulp, such as waterproofing agents, to improve the overall performance.
2. Forming
The evenly concentrated pulp adheres to the perforated molds in the forming machine. Under the combined action of the vacuum system and compression forming technology, the pulp is shaped into a preliminary wet egg carton containing a certain amount of moisture.
3. Drying
The wet egg cartons are conveyed into the dryer via a conveyor belt. High-temperature hot air inside the dryer evaporates the moisture in the cartons, giving them sufficient strength, hardness, and elasticity.
4. Packaging
After drying, the egg cartons are further shaped and surface-smoothed by a high-temperature hot press. If required, a printer can be used to print brand logos or patterns on the carton surface. The cartons are then counted, stacked, and packaged.
